The following contests count towards reaching your minimum of three (3):

Contest Check-In No pre-entry is required for contests. The only contest that requires an entry fee is showmanship ($10). Those interested in competing in contests must sign up for each individual contest at NJBS Contest Check-In on Monday, July 15 at 1:30pm. However, if you are attending NJBS to participate in CONTESTS ONLY, please fill out and mail in an entry form indicating such so we can ensure that you receive a NJBS T-shirt and participant packet! Some contests require teams in order to participate; however, individuals may sign up and the IJBBA Director in charge of the contest WILL find you a team. HighPoint Individual Awards Because of the participation requirement and to help encourage more participation in all NJBS Contests, the IJBBA Board of Directors is offering a $250 cash prize to each HighPoint Individual. HighPoint Individuals are calculated by participation and ranking in all eligible activities. Awards will be presented to the HighPoint Junior (7-12), Intermediate (13-16) and Senior (17-21). Please note that some contests are only for participation points. To win the HighPoint Individual Award, the contestant must participate in 9 of the contests listed under Contest Requirement (**Video Marketing participation is NOT included in requirement for HighPoint Individual this year since it is a newer contest. However, participation and placing points will be awarded for those who do participate. IJBBA reserves the right to make it a requirement for HighPoint Individual in the future). Disputes Any disputes that arise will be handled at the discretion of the IJBBA Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, and/or Director of Youth Activities. Their verdict in such instances will be final.
