April Villarreal is a 19 year old sophomore at Texas A&M University. Beginning her second year on the IJBBA Board of Directors, April is very excited to continue to represent the great state of Texas! April serves as the manager of her family's ranch, Villa Ranch in which they raise Black, Red, and Show cattle. All of her past experience in FFA, 4H, Katy Cowgirls and Villa Ranch, has structured her to be a great leader, responsible person, and a hard worker. She believes that the IJBBA will help her get more involved in the things she is passionate about: cattle, ranching, and leadership. April is very eager to see how her future with the IJBBA Board of Directors will continue to pan out.

If you were to describe yourself as an animal, what would it be and why? If I were to be an animal, I would be a horse. To me, horses are one of the most noble animals there is.
If you could choose your last meal, what would it be? My last meal would be a Ribeye steak with jalapeño Mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes and Texas toast.
What was your favorite childhood toy? My favorite childhood toy was a ball. I was never one to sit down to play with dolls or toys, but I did love a small blue ball, because I could play with it and move around.
What is/was your dream job? My dream job is to be an embryologist and a financial advisor.
What is your favorite season and why? My favorite season would be fall, because it is the perfect weather to ride in and work outside without it being too hot or too cold.

What would be your spirit animal and why? My spirit animal would be a dog, because they are loyal and always playful!
What is your biggest fear? My biggest fears is tied with spiders or heights.
What is your strangest talent? My strangest talent is not only being able to cross my eyes, but to move each individual eye to the center and back.
